Renewable Portfolio Manager

Berlin | Full-Time Role 

About the Role: 

We are looking for a Renewable Portfolio Manager with strong understanding of power markets to our growing Berlin office. This role will sit in the Trailstone Renewable Portfolio Management team and work closely together with the origination, trading, quant, risk, and credit teams.  

This will be a full-time role, owning the following responsibilities: 

 

What will you do? 

• You will price and manage balancing risk of fluctuating renewables in Europe. 
• You will bear PNL responsibility for your portfolio including daily position management, risk and performance monitoring. 
• You will stay on top of market developments and contribute to the development of our renewable power management platform. 
• Manage interfaces with other teams to ensure efficient workflows. 

About You: 

This person will have a strong quantitative mindset and programming experience. In Addition, we are looking for someone with the following: 

What do you need? 

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in engineering, mathematics, economics, or related fields. 
• Strong quantitative, commercial and communication skills. 
• Strong understanding of power markets. 
• Strong programming experience (Python preferred). 
• Fluent English language skills. 
• Substantive, demonstrable working experience in portfolio management or trading in power markets is highly desirable but not essential.
