Trailstone Giving Back

Though our 160 person team spans eight time zones and four offices, we are united by the shared goal of making the world a better place. Day to day, that means providing tech-enabled risk management and asset optimization services to make the world’s transition to sustainable energy sustainable. But it is also important to us to give back to the communities where we work and live.

We are happy to announce that Trailstone will be supporting the following charities in 2022: The Central Texas Food Bank, The Bowery Mission, The Childhood Trust, The Whitechapel Mission, Berliner Tafel (“Berlin Table”) and "Die Arche" Kinderstiftung ("The Ark" Children's Foundation).

These organizations were nominated by our staff and chosen based on the potential for our financial donation and staff volunteer time to make a significant difference in the lives of the individuals supported by these organizations. You can learn more about each organization below.


Central Texas Food Bank

Mission: To nourish hungry people and lead the community in ending hunger.

Main activities: The Central Texas Food Bank provides quality food to 250 charities and partner organizations, shares free food and low-cost healthy eating knowledge with families in need, and assists families who qualify for federal assistance programs.

New York

The Bowery Mission

Mission: To be the most effective provider of compassionate care and life transformation in the New York metro area.

Main activities: The Bowery Mission arranges and supports homeless individuals in the New York area by providing them shelter and food.


The Childhood Trust

Mission: To support vulnerable children living in poverty in London.

Main activities: The Childhood Trust provides grants, goods and services to charities and other organizations working to prevent or relieve poverty or deprivation. In the last year, it has funded 209 different projects that helped 243,000 disadvantaged children.

The Whitechapel Mission

Mission: To help rough-sleeping Londoners with their immediate needs of food, shelter, clothing and medical care, and address deeper needs for training in life skills, job skills, and addiction recovery.

Main activities: The Whitechapel Mission operates a day center on the edge of London's financial district, that meets the basic needs of up to 600 people a day, 365 days a year, with hot breakfast and lunch, showers, clothing and essential support.


Berliner Tafel (“Berlin Table”)

Mission: To collect and redistribute healthy food in Berlin, allowing people to regain a degree of financial leeway, and promote healthy eating.

Main activities: Berliner Tafel supplies food to 350 social institutions, runs 46 food distribution points and provides nutritional education and cooking classes for school children.

"Die Arche" Kinderstiftung ("The Ark" Children's Foundation)

Mission: To combat child poverty in Germany, with a particular commitment to helping children from socially-disadvantaged backgrounds.

Main activities: “Die Arche” operates 28 facilities across Germany, helping 4,500 children a year through meaningful leisure activities which are aimed at building sustainable relationships such as holiday camps, meals and educational support, in addition to providing help and advice for parents.

Trailstone is proud to make a financial donation to these organizations in addition to facilitating opportunities for our staff to volunteer with each organization and take action in their communities.
